What is Equip to Serve?

It is a teaching and equipping ministry under the endorsement and encouragement of the Network Churches and the Paisley & District Evangelical Alliance. This ministry is being developed by Phil Arbon who has recently felt the call of the Lord to devote his time to provide a resource by facilitating trusted equippers to help establish ministries in Scotland and beyond.
Phil's vision is to make accessible a system of practical training within local churches for those who want to serve the Lord in a greater way.

• For key church members who seek training for greater effectiveness in their ministries but see Bible College as beyond their reach.
• For church leaders who recognise the need for their key members to be further equipped but are unable to provide a training programme within their church.
• For new churches that are looking for theological and practical input from ministries flowing from a "Charismatic" and radical church perspective.

Phil believes his primary call is to the preaching and equipping ministry and his bible teaching ministry has growing appreciation in the west of Scotland. He is as a "networker" and being in touch with other ministries and expertise throughout the nation he aims to be able to match ministries with the equipping needs of the local church.
