What are the aims and objectives?
- To equip leaders, potential leaders and
key church members to a standard of excellence and quality
pertinent to the needs of the 21st Century church, family,
society and the workplace.
- To make accessible a programme of training
in theology, discipleship and leadership by tailoring it
to the specific needs of the local church and its outworking
in society.
o By providing a training school in the west of Scotland
for teaching and equipping along with practical "hands
on" placement experience within local churches. (a
you send them to us basis)
or
o By bringing the school to other locations in the country
for specific times and purposes such as a training weekend
or a series of weekends. (a 'we'll come to you' basis)
The above would be achieved by utilising well
trusted ministries and expertise known trough our various
networks.
- To facilitate impartation from key international
speakers and those at the cutting edge of radical church
theology and practice by organising conferences and training
seminars.
- To address the need for bible teaching,
discipleship and leadership training in other countries
with particular emphasis on the developing world. This would
be facilitated by taking Equip on short term assignments
to oversees locations.
- To be available for preaching and teaching
in local church services and programmes.
